Music, Music, Music

There are certain happy songs that instantly bring a smile to the faces of my participants. “Music, Music, Music”, a number one hit from 1950 performed by Theresa Brewer is unquestionably one of them. It’s an incredible upbeat tune written in 1949 by Stephen Weiss and Bernie Baum. Apparently, when it first came out, some radio stations were reluctant to play it because the line in the song “I’ll do anything for you, anything you want me to” was considered somewhat indecent. How times have changed. Apparently, Theresa Brewer came to be known as “Miss Music” due to the great success of this fabulous song which she interprets so brilliantly. “Music, Music, Music”, with its infectious chorus, causes automatic sing-a-longs. It has a simple structure making it an excellent choice for easy fun choreography.
